Our Story
McNaughton Incorporated was founded in 1985 by a brother and sister team. The Brother, Patrick McNaughton loved to invent. "As kids, we always had the coolest toys because Pat would take them apart and modify them. Sometimes he made them better or turned them into something else" says sister, Jamie McNaughton. "And Jamie likes to talk a lot. I think she got in trouble in school for talking. But she can effectively tell the story so that people understand and get on board" brother Patrick adds. Both know how to listen and make sure they understand the client, the market and the product. Together, their vision is to find trends, identify needs and effectively solve problems. "Our goal is to create, develop and market products that make people's lives easier, better and safer", says Pat who has dozens of patents to his name and has developed and designed most of McNaughton Inc's 100+ products. Jamie has coined Pat's products as "Forehead Slappers" because when she presents them to customers, they slap their foreheads and exclaim "What a great idea! Wish I would have thought of that!". The key to McNaughton's Success is looking ahead, leading the way in new markets and to have well thought out, functional designs that can actually be manufactured cost effectively. "So many times, I see products that fall short of what they could have been or could have done. The thought process just wasn't completed. I try to design with every tool I have and make each product everything it can be...maybe even more" says Patrick. McNaughton Incorporated is celebrating 25 years of invention and creative development fulfilling the needs of the marketplace. They are doing what they can to make the world a better place through the products they manufacture.
